Trustico® operates with a commitment to resolving genuine customer concerns fairly and professionally.
The Terms and Conditions that govern all purchases and use of Trustico® products and services include specific provisions regarding public feedback. Customers who post false, misleading, or defamatory content about Trustico® in public channels are in breach of those terms and subject to immediate consequences. The same applies to customers who use the threat of negative reviews as leverage.
This page outlines what constitutes unwarranted negative feedback, the consequences that apply, and how customers with legitimate concerns should raise them through the correct channels. View Our Full Terms and Conditions 🔗
What Constitutes Unwarranted Negative Feedback
Not all critical feedback is unwarranted. Trustico® welcomes honest assessments and uses customer input to improve products and services.
Unwarranted negative feedback is specifically defined as content that is inaccurate, made in bad faith, or intended to cause harm rather than to resolve a genuine issue.
False or Misleading Statements
Posting false or misleading statements about Trustico® products or services on review platforms, social media, forums, or any other public channel constitutes unwarranted negative feedback.
This includes content that misrepresents how a product works, attributes fault to Trustico® for circumstances outside of its control, or describes experiences that did not occur as stated.
Defamatory Content
Content that damages the reputation of Trustico® without legitimate basis or factual support is considered defamatory.
Defamatory content goes beyond expressing dissatisfaction. It makes claims that are demonstrably untrue or designed to mislead other prospective customers.
Using Negative Reviews as Leverage
Threatening to post a negative review as a means of obtaining services, refunds, or outcomes to which a customer is not otherwise entitled is a serious breach of the Terms and Conditions.
This also applies to threatening to escalate negative public commentary to achieve the same outcome. This type of conduct is treated as coercion and is addressed accordingly.
Coordinated Reputation Attacks
Coordinated campaigns or systematic attempts to damage the reputation of Trustico® through multiple platforms or accounts are treated as a significant breach.
This includes organizing or encouraging others to post negative content that does not reflect genuine experience.
Bad Faith Feedback After Resolution Attempts
Where Trustico® has made a genuine attempt to resolve a legitimate concern through the appropriate support channels, feedback posted publicly in bad faith following that process is considered unwarranted.
Feedback of this nature is designed to cause harm rather than to inform, and is treated accordingly under the Terms and Conditions.
Consequences of Unwarranted Negative Feedback
Trustico® reserves the right to act immediately when unwarranted negative feedback is identified. The consequences set out in Section 11.2 of the Terms and Conditions apply without exception.
Warning : Engaging in unwarranted negative feedback may result in the immediate cancellation, revocation, or termination of all active products and services. This occurs without notice, without compensation, and without the possibility of a refund for any amounts paid, regardless of the remaining service period.
Immediate Termination of Products and Services
All active SSL Certificates and associated services may be revoked immediately upon identification of unwarranted negative feedback.
No advance notice is required, and revocation takes effect from the point the decision is made. The customer will not be entitled to any compensation for the unexpired portion of any active license or subscription.
No Refunds
Where termination occurs as a consequence of unwarranted negative feedback, no refunds will be provided for any amounts paid.
This applies regardless of the original purchase terms, the product type, or the stage of the service period at the time of termination. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions at the time of purchase, customers acknowledge and accept these non-refundable terms.
Permanent Account Ban
Customers whose products and services are terminated as a result of unwarranted negative feedback will be permanently banned from making future purchases or using Trustico® services.
This applies to the individual, organization, and any associated accounts or entities.
Legal Action
Important : Trustico® reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for defamation or other applicable claims.
Where content posted publicly meets the legal threshold for defamation or other actionable claims, Trustico® may seek appropriate legal remedies.
This is not a measure taken lightly, but it reflects the seriousness with which Trustico® treats false and damaging public statements. Customers are encouraged to consider this before posting content that cannot be substantiated.
How to Raise a Legitimate Concern
Customers with genuine concerns are strongly encouraged to raise them through the official support channels before posting publicly.
Raising a concern through the correct channel gives Trustico® the opportunity to investigate and respond. Many issues that appear to be product or service failures are the result of misunderstandings about how SSL Certificate issuance, validation, or delivery works.
These can typically be resolved quickly once the facts are established.
Tip : Before posting a public review, contact Trustico® through the official support page. Genuine concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly. Reaching out directly is the fastest way to resolve an issue.
Support is available through the official support page, which provides access to the full range of contact and assistance options. Explore Our Support and Assistance Options 🔗
